Pretty Deadly wins Gauntlet match to become NXT Tag Team Champions

Pretty Deadly, former NXT UK Tag Team Champions are now the new NXT Tag Team Champions

New NXT Tag Champions crowned.

Due to the release of Nash Carter, the NXT Tag Titles which were in Carter and Wes Lee’s possession were vacated. A gauntlet match took place on tonight’s episode of NXT 2.0 to determine new champions.

Coming out victorious was the duo known as ‘Pretty Deadly’, Elton Prince and Kit Wilson. They’ve been with the NXT UK brand and arrived to NXT 2.0 by targeting The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed). Prince and Wilson defeated in The Creeds in the final round of the gauntlet to become champions.

The Creeds bested Legado Del Fantasma (Raul Mendoza & Joaquin Wilde), Josh Briggs and Brooks Jenson along with Grayson Waller and Sanga to make it to the end of the gauntlet.

Prince and Wilson held the NXT UK Tag Titles for over 200 days before dropping the belts to Moustache Mountain (Trent Seven & Tyler Bate).

The upNXT crew is live on their Twitch channel with a review of tonight’s NXT 2.0 and that review is going to be uploaded to the POST Wrestling site when their live recording concludes.
