Zachary Green issues apology for impersonating Hitler in photo

Zachary Green a.k.a. Zachary Wentz and the former Nash Carter has issued an apology over a photo where he impersonated Adolf Hitler.

In his first public statement since his WWE release, Green posted the following statement apologizing for a photo that surfaced in April:

Green claimed the photo was taken seven years ago and that someone was threatening to extort him by posting it on social media two years ago. When he was threatened with the photo going public, he states that he sent it to his wife, Kimber Lee, to discuss the situation and believes that she posted it after Green filed for divorce.

Kimber Lee also made allegations of Green being abusive in the past.

After the photo was posted, Green was released by WWE while holding the NXT Tag Team Championships, which he won several days earlier with partner Wes Lee.

Green is advertised for his first independent show this Saturday for No Peace Underground in Orlando, Florida.
