John Siino reviews this week’s editions of AEW Dark, AEW Dark: Elevation, NXT UK, IMPACT Wrestling, NXT Level Up, NJPW Strong, NWA USA, NWA Powerrr, and Main Event in under 15 minutes on Shot In The Dark.
This week, we have two episodes of AEW Dark, with a special Saturday show on Double or Nothing which included a rare appearance from Darby Allin as he destroyed Brandon Cutler, Death Triangle and House of Black in trios action, as well as Johnny Elite taking on Marq Quen and then celebrates with ‘Dad’. On Tuesday’s episode, Mercedes Martinez continues her streak of defending the ROH Women’s Championship.
IMPACT Wrestling has Frankie Kazarian returning to face old foe Chris Sabin, but Honor No More wants none of this TNA 20 year celebration. Trey Miguel vs. Alex Shelley in an Ultimate X Qualifying Match, Masha Slamovich vs. Havok and Josh Alexander teamed up with The Briscoes to take on Violent By Design.
On NXT UK, Lash Legend makes her wrestling debut taking on Emilia McKenzie, Wolfgang offers Damon Kemp some help against Noam Dar and Sha Samuels, Mark Coffey goes solo when he faces Saxon Huxley and Charlie Dempsey vs. A-Kid in a Heritage Rules match.
Also, Konosuke Takeshita vs. Ryan Nemeth on AEW Dark: Elevation, Trick Williams vs. Dante Chen on NXT Level Up, The Miserably Faithful vs. Jax Dane & Magic Jake Dumas on NWA USA, Homicide defends the Junior Heavyweight Title against Colby Corino on NWA Powerrr, United Empire vs. TMDK on NJPW Strong, Apollo Crews vs. T-Bar on Main Event and more!
