WWE has named its new Executive Vice President and Head of Marketing.

In a press release issued on Monday, the company has named Catherine Newman as its new head of marketing and will hold an EVP title.

Newman’s duties will include overseeing Marketing, Brand, Community Relations, Entertainment Relations, Creative Services, and Photography, according to the release.

Newman graduated from Loughborough University with a Bachelor of Science with honors in Retail Management in 2000.

She worked with the Financial Times from 2004 until 2015 where she was the head of marketing for its B2B campaign and became its Global Brand & B2B director.

After leaving the Financial Times, she worked at News UK for nearly five years and her last role was serving as Chief Marketing Officer for Manchester United until accepting the position with WWE.

Over the weekend, Business Insider put out a piece (behind a paywall) that stated that Claudine Lilien, WWE’s Head of Global Sales & Partnerships, is departing the company, although WWE has not made that announcement publicly.
