Clark Connors to challenge for the MLW National Openweight Title at NJPW Music City Mayhem

The Clark Connors versus Davey Richards match is now for the MLW National Openweight Championship.

Additions to the Music City Mayhem lineup.

As New Japan Pro-Wrestling inches closer to their Music City Mayhem event on July 30th, the match card is taking shape and two more matches have been made official for the show.

Davey Richards is going to compete for New Japan for the first time since 2011 when he takes on Clark Connors. In addition to that bout, Hiromu Takahashi will be facing Blake Christian in singles competition.

Music City Mayhem is a part of Starrcast weekend in Nashville, Tennessee. Several weeks before this event, New Japan is kicking off the G1 Climax 32 tournament.
