IMPACT’s Bound for Glory set for 10/7 in Albany, New York

IMPACT Wrestling will hold its signature event in Albany, New York this year.

The promotion confirmed that Bound for Glory is now set for Albany, New York, and will take place on Friday, October 7^th. They have not announced the venue yet.

Initially, the show was scheduled for October 8^th in Danbury, Connecticut. Fightful Select reports that the promotion moved the date to avoid running against WWE’s Extreme Rules event, which takes place on October 8^th in Philadelphia. According to the report, the building in Danbury wasn’t available on Friday and they found a new location in Albany.

It is the first time Bound for Glory will air on a Friday night with previous editions of the pay-per-view reserved for Saturday & Sunday on pay-per-view.
