Doudrop & Nikki A.S.H. to challenge for NXT Women’s Tag Titles at WWE Worlds Collide

The next challengers in line for a shot at the NXT Women's Tag Team Titles are Raw's Doudrop and Nikki A.S.H.

New challengers to the NXT Women’s Tag Titles step forward.

The reigning NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Katana Chance and Kayden Carter were in action on the 8/30 NXT 2.0. They picked up a win over Diamond Mine’s Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley. The duo received an unrequested assist from Toxic Attraction’s Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne.

Post-match, Chance and Carter stated that since they do not have a match at Worlds Collide, they would be throwing a party in the parking lot. Raw’s Doudrop and Nikki A.S.H. then came to the ring and issued a challenge to Chance and Carter for Worlds Collide on September 4th.

Doudrop and Nikki competed in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship tournament that was won by Aliyah and Raquel Rodriguez.

With the addition of the NXT Women’s Tag Title match, below is the updated Worlds Collide card:

  • Championship Unification Match: Bron Breakker (NXT Champion) vs. Tyler Bate (NXT UK Champion)
  • Triple-Threat Championship Unification Match: Mandy Rose (NXT Champion) vs. Meiko Satomura (NXT UK Women’s Champion) vs. Blair Davenport
  • NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships: Kayden Carter & Katana Chance (c) vs. Doudrop & Nikki A.S.H.
