SmackDown Notes: Ronda Rousey to challenge Liv Morgan, Karrion Kross attacks

The show began with a recap of Solo Sikoa helping Roman Reigns defeat Drew McIntyre at Clash at the Castle.
Michael Cole was shown at ringside where he explained that Pat McAfee would be away from Smackdown with “football duties” and he would be back at the end of the year. Replacing him was Corey Graves.
All three members of Imperium defeated The Brawling Brutes clean with The Imperial Bomb.
Michael Cole & Corey Graves offered WWE’s condolences on the loss of Queen Elizabeth II.
Sami Zayn and The Usos came to the ring to introduce Solo Sikoa as an official new member of The Bloodline. During his entrance a promo package aired highlighting Sikoa in NXT as well as his interference this past Saturday at Clash at the Castle. Drew McIntyre interrupted attacking Sikoa. Sami Zayn jumped in front of a chair shot meant for Sikoa to end the segment.
Raquel Rodriguez & Aliyah defeated Toxic Attraction with the Texana Bomb. Rodriguez & Aliyah will defend their titles against Damage Control this Monday on Raw.
Ronda Rousey defeated Xia Li, Sonya Deville, Natalya, and Lacey Evans in a Fatal 5-Way Elimination Match to secure a title shot against Liv Morgan at Extreme Rules on October 8th in Philadelphia. Order of elimination: Natalya, Xia Li/Lacey Evans (simultaneous), Sonya Deville.
Backstage Solo Sikoa confronted Sami Zayn but then said that Roman Reigns was right about him and thanked him for taking the chair shot from Drew McIntyre. The Bloodline decided that they would all be ringside for Sikoa’s match later with Drew.
Ronda Rousey ran into Shayna Baszler backstage after her win and Baszler wished her luck against Liv Morgan. Ronda said she knew Shayna was bummed about losing but said that revenge was better than winning. She told Baszler to let her know when she was ready to “break some bones and take over the show again”.
Hit Row & The Street Profits defeated Maximum Male Models & Los Lotharios after Hit Row successfully executed their Heavy Hitter finisher on mån.sôör.
An Alpha Academy promo running down Seattle was interrupted by Braun Strowman. Strowman took out Otis & Gable ending the segment easily powerbombing Otis.
During the main event of Drew McIntyre vs Solo Sikoa, The Street Profits ran down to take out The Usos and Sami Zayn. After that, Karrion Kross appeared in the ring putting McIntyre in the Kross Jacket, choking him out with the broadcast changing to black and white. The show went off the air by fading to black with Michael Cole screaming that Kross wants to reset the timeline on SmackDown.
