It has been over a decade since Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat wrestled in a sanctioned pro wrestling match. He is now going to be making his in-ring return on November 27th for the Big Time Wrestling promotion.

This event is emanating from the Dorton Arena in Wake County, North Carolina.

Big Time Wrestling co-owner Steve Perkins gave a comment to Sports Illustrated and said they’re excited to bring Steamboat back to the ring and ticket sales begin today.

Ricky Steamboat is one of the greatest [of] all-time, and we’re excited to bring a legend back to the ring. Interest will be high, and ticket sales will begin today.

The WWE Hall of Famer made appearances for both All Elite Wrestling and NWA over the last month. Steamboat got physical on AEW Dynamite with ‘Cool Hand’ Angelo Parker.

He appeared on NWA Powerrr to announce that he’ll be assisting with the National Heavyweight Title #1 contender tournament. The winner of that will be challenging for the belt at Hard Times 3 on November 12th.

There is no word on who the 69-year-old Steamboat is going to be wrestling with/against in his return match.
