The former tag champions are scheduled to clash for the DEFY Title.

It is official that on October 8th, Christopher Daniels will defend the DEFY Championship against Swerve Strickland.

Over the summer, Strickland and Daniels captured the DEFY Tag Titles but lost the belts on 8/20 to Eddie Pearl and Ricky Gibson.

Strickland was in action at Dynamite Grand Slam at Arthur Ashe Stadium. He and Keith Lee put the AEW World Tag Team Championships on the line against The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster).
