A new report states that Gabe Sapolsky is the latest rehiring by WWE.

Mike Johnson at PWinsider.com reports that Sapolsky is back with WWE in a creative role, although it’s uncertain where he is being stationed among the brands.

POST Wrestling received confirmation that Gabe Sapolsky is back with the company.

The former Ring of Honor booker was let go by WWE earlier this year among many cuts at the NXT level. Since then, several have returned under the new leadership including Road Dogg Brian James and Ryan Katz.

After getting his start with ECW and working with the promotion until it folded, Sapolsky helped launch Ring of Honor in 2002 and served as its booker until 2008. Sapolsky later joined Dragon Gate USA and launched EVOLVE in 2010, which later formed a working relationship with WWE and Sapolsky joined WWE as a consultant at NXT.
