AEW Dynamite fell to a five-month low in its regular timeslot on Wednesday for its go-home show before Full Gear.

The November 16th episode from Bridgeport averaged 813,000 viewers and approximately 365,000 (0.28) viewers in the 18-49 demographic, according to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.

Both figures were the lowest for Dynamite on its regular night since June 15th, which excludes the Tuesday edition that aired last month. Overall viewership was down by 12% this week and 18-49 dropped by 11%.

The show ranked fourth among cable originals behind the back-to-back NBA games on ESPN and the episode of SportsCenter that followed. Dynamite aired head-to-head against the Boston Celtics vs. Atlanta Hawks that averaged 1.49 million viewers and 0.53 in the key demo, which ranked second on cable behind the late game.

In the 18-49 demographic, male viewership declined by 12%, and females dropped by 6%.

There was a sizable decline of 28% among adults 18-34, which was the lowest audience in that demo since July 20th.

The 12-34 demo decreased by 33% among males and 19% among females.

Adults 35-49 were unchanged from the week prior while adults 50+ dropped by 12%.

In Canada, viewership on TSN 2 rebounded with 90,200 viewers and 45,200 in the 25-54 demographic after hitting an abnormally low figure of 33,000 viewers and 17,000 in the demo last week and suggested an aberration over the technical difficulties or some unknown reason that caused the massive drop last week. This does not include French language viewership on RDS 2/RDS Info.

The show was the go-home edition for Full Gear this Saturday and was headlined by closing promos by Jon Moxley and MJF ahead of their AEW title match on the pay-per-view.
