Konosuke Takeshita is officially “All Elite” according to AEW owner Tony Khan.

Khan announced on Twitter that the Japanese star, who has impressed in a series of appearances on AEW television, will address fans during the Full Gear: Zero Hour pre-show.

The 27-year-old has spent the vast bulk of his career with DDT Pro Wrestling, having begun training with the promotion in 2011.

He made his debut appearance for AEW in the company’s only non-televised live event to date, ‘The House Always Wins’, which took place in April 2021.

He has become an AEW fan favorite in 2022 with televised matches against Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Hangman Page, and Eddie Kingston.

He recently returned to the United States after spending much of August and September in Japan with DDT Pro Wrestling.

It is not yet clear whether the signing is exclusive. DDT President Sanshiro Takagi tweeted in Japanese to congratulate Takeshita. Automated translation, which is not always reliable, seems to point toward Takeshita dividing his time between the two promotions.
