Athena to defend her championship at a Prestige Wrestling event.

In 2023, Prestige Wrestling is going to host an ROH Women’s World Title bout. Athena, who became champion at Final Battle is scheduled to defend her title against Miyu Yamashita on January 21st at The Glass House Concert Hall in Pomona, California.

As of this writing, this is Athena’s first scheduled defense of the belt.

Yamashita wrestled for All Elite Wrestling over the summer. The 3-time TJPW Princess of Princess Champion challenged Thunder Rosa for the AEW Women’s World Title at Fight For The Fallen. They wrestled in Japan for TJPW as well.
