PRODUCE, an upstart independent professional wrestling brand, is going on hiatus.
The brand, which was launched earlier this year by Orange Crush, a wrestling-focused art project run by Adam Abdalla, is cancelling a series of upcoming shows.
A press release issued by the company on Monday said that a selection of upcoming dates in New York, Orlando, and Montreal will not go forward. The brand plans to still present a pair of New York shows later this month and return on February 25, 2027, with a Los Angeles-based event.
The changes are coming due to a multitude of reasons, Abdalla wrote on Monday. Along with the high costs associated with running the promotion, he noted that medical circumstances within his family have caused the change.

PRODUCE will be taking a hiatus after our shows on November 14th and 15th in New York, due to a family health situation, combined with the realities of market stability.

This was a difficult decision to make, but after taking a hard look at rising travel costs, advances, uncertainty in the live event market, in combination with our primary concern, unexpected personal family medical circumstances, the most prudent decision is to reset and move forward in 2027 with new partners and intention to ensure the long term health of the project.
PRODUCE launched in June with a show in June titled “The Octopus,” centred around technical wrestler Jonathan Gresham. They have presented numerous shows since then, most recently visiting Los Angeles for “Hell Comes to Dogtown.”
