Jerry Lawler expected to make “full recovery” following stroke

Jerry Lawler is on the mend following a stroke this past Monday with the hope that the Hall of Fame performer will make a full recovery.

An update from his social media account on Wednesday confirmed that the performer suffered a “massive stroke” and is recovering in a Fort Myers hospital.

The good news is that they stated with rehabilitation, he should be able to make a full recovery and is currently dealing with limited speech. There were photos posted of Jimmy Hart visiting with Lawler as the two go back decades and attended the same high school prior to each getting into the industry.

Lawler previously suffered cardiac arrest during a live edition of WWE Raw in September 2012 shortly after a match. In 2018, he suffered a stroke but made a very quick recovery after being unable to speak for nearly three days.

Lawler appeared on WWE programming last month as part of the Raw is XXX special and on the Royal Rumble kickoff show.

We want to send our best wishes and hopes for a complete recovery for Jerry Lawler.
