WWE Raw notes: Cody-Sami segment, Belair stops Bayley & Lynch, MMM-Otis, Bron Breakker

Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn meet in the ring, Belair stops Becky Lynch & Bayley, Otis gets contacted by MMM, Bron Breakker on Main Event

Ahead of challenging Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Elimination Chamber, Sami Zayn appeared on Monday Night Raw and asked Cody Rhodes to join him in the ring. Zayn expressed that he is not sure if he can beat Reigns. Rhodes gave words of encouragement to Zayn and said he does not want to see him next week on Raw because he wants to see him at WrestleMania 39. 

There was another segment featuring Rhodes when he walked in on a Baron Corbin interview. Rhodes went after Corbin after Corbin said Dusty Rhodes is a ‘joke’. Cody defeated Corbin in a singles match in a suit. Cody’s sister, Teil, tweeted about the segment. 

In the main event of the show, Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair defeated Becky Lynch and Bayley in a non-title Triple Threat. The stipulation was that if Becky Lynch or Bayley won, the winner would be added to the women’s Elimination Chamber match. Belair won so neither of them are being added. 

Prior to Raw going live on USA Network, NXT Champion Bron Breakker and Wendy Choo were in action on Main Event. Breakker defeated Tozawa and Choo defeated Dana Brooke. 

Seth Rollins sported the MSCHF Red Boots for his segment with The Miz. Rollins delivered a ‘Stomp’ to Miz in the boots but was taken out by United States Champion Austin Theory afterwards. 

Maximum Male Models (Maxxine Dupri, ma.ce & man.soor) approached Alpha Academy (Otis & Chad Gable). Maxxine gave Otis her business card. 

After losing to Bronson Reed, Mustafa Ali challenged Dolph Ziggler to a singles match for next week.
