CMLL’s Ángel de Oro tests positive for COVID-19

CMLL noted that after tests were conducted, it was determined that Ángel de Oro tested positive for COVID-19

Tests were conducted ahead of this weekend’s shows. 

After COVID-19 tests were conducted ahead of this weekend’s CMLL shows, the company was informed that Ángel de Oro, who was scheduled to perform this weekend, tested positive. 

de Oro has been with CMLL since 2008 and is their reigning Mexican National Light Heavyweight Champion.

He’s been champion since the fall of 2021 and last defended it in December 2022 against El Hijo del Vikingo, who made his AEW debut on 3/22.
