Kenny Omega to defend IWGP US Title against Jeff Cobb on Dynamite

Kenny Omega will defend the IWGP US Heavyweight Championship against Jeff Cobb on the next edition of AEW Dynamite.

The news was announced on Saturday by Tony Khan.

Taking to Twitter, the AEW owner said that Cobb was aiming to take the belt back for New Japan Pro Wrestling’s United Empire faction.

Omega won the title for the second time on January 4th at Wrestle Kingdom 17, after defeating Will Ospreay.

Dynamite will emanate from the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri, on Wednesday, March 29^th.

More Dynamite matches are expected to be announced during Saturday night’s broadcast of AEW Rampage.
