ESPN First Take welcomes Nick Khan onto the show.

With WrestleMania 39 looming, wrestlers and employees of WWE are appearing on various media outlets to promote nights one and two of the event.

Joining ESPN’s First Take with Stephen A. Smith was WWE CEO Nick Khan. As Smith was boosting Khan’s accolades, he said that Khan runs the sports world.

Before Khan answered Smith’s question about why he opted to take the role he has with WWE, he stated that there’s only one person who actually runs the WWE and that’s Vince McMahon. Khan added that there’s a lot of people who help him to help run WWE.

Just one note on that, I don’t run the WWE. There’s only one person who actually runs the WWE, Vince McMahon. A lot of folks help me to help run the WWE.

Vince McMahon returned to the company in January and is back as the Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors. He stepped away in the summer of 2022 as a result of sexual misconduct allegations.
