The Auschwitz Memorial site calls it out.
Going into the Dominik Mysterio versus Rey Mysterio match at WrestleMania 39, video packages aired and one of the packages to promote the ‘Prison Dom’ persona included an Auschwitz image.
This was called out by the Auschwitz Memorial official Twitter account and they described it as ‘shameless’.
The fact that Auschwitz image was used to promote a WWE match is hard to call “an editing mistake”. Exploiting the site that became a symbol of enormous human tragedy is shameless and insults the memory of all victims of Auschwitz.
