April 25th is the date of the next NXT on USA Network special titled Spring Breakin’. The NXT Women’s Title match for that show is official and it’ll be the champion Indi Hartwell defending against Tiffany Stratton and Roxanne Perez in a Triple Threat.

To open the 4/18 NXT, Gallus (Mark Coffey & Wolfgang) successfully defended the NXT Tag Team Championships in a Triple Threat tag that involved The Dyad (Rip Fowler & Jagger Reid) and The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed). IWGP and NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Champions Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis) reacted to The Dyad using a move they’ve dubbed the ‘Coriolis’.

Odyssey Jones came out to the ring for singles competition but he was taken out by Bron Breakker. The former NXT Champion was then confronted by Chase University’s Duke Hudson, who went on to offer Breakker a match with Andre Chase at Spring Breakin’.

Josh Briggs attempted to make amends with Brooks Jensen. He was waved off by Jensen while they were all in Kiana James’ office. It was later made official that at Spring Breakin’, it’ll be James and Jensen versus Josh Briggs and Fallon Henley.

The following matches were added to the 4/25 lineup:

  • Trunk Match: Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson & Elton Prince) vs. Tony D’Angelo & Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo
  • Lyra Valkyria vs. Cora Jade

The North American Championship was successfully defended by Wes Lee once again. He scored a win over Charlie Dempsey, but was ambushed by Drew Gulak post-match.

NXT Heritage Cup Champion Noam Dar scored a win over Myles Borne in his NXT U.S. in-ring debut.

A new segment debuted on the 4/18 show titled ‘Hard-Hitting Home Truth with Nathan Frazer’.
