An early comeback is on the mind of Hiroshi Tanahashi.

Due to a broken rib injury that Hiroshi Tanahashi suffered in the main event of NJPW Capital Collision, he had to be pulled from Road to Wrestling Dontaku dates

After Capital Collision, Tanahashi agreed to tag with Kazuchika Okada in a NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Title match. That title match is taking place May 3rd and Tanahashi told Tokyo Sports that he is not ruling out competing in the match as he is aiming to return next month.

On May 21st, Tanahashi is scheduled to go one-on-one with Will Ospreay in a tournament match to determine the next challenger to the IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Championship. He has intentions of competing in that match.

Road to Wrestling Dontaku continued on 4/23 in Osaka, Japan.
