Rob Van Dam shares that film aggregator for his ‘HEADSTRONG’ documentary kept all of the money

Van Dam said it ‘went out of business’ as a result.

In 2019, the Joe Clarke-directed documentary titled ‘HEADSTRONG’ was released. The documentary is centered around Rob Van Dam. The synopsis for it is below:

Plans to film pro wrestling legend Rob Van Dam doing a standup comedy tour are drastically changed when concussion symptoms unexpectedly take priority in this candid and unflinching documentary. Starring Rob Van Dam, Tommy Dreamer, Katie Forbes.

Van Dam guest appeared on the 66th Café De René livestream on YouTube and shared that the film aggregator, Distribber, who was hired to distribute the documentary onto platforms, kept all of the money.

My movie HEADSTRONG, I got screwed over on that. Worked on that for years and got it to a point where we finally got it out. The middleman which is called an aggregator in that business, ‘Distribber’, they were called, we paid them to load it up on all the platforms; Amazon and iTunes, blah, blah, blah, Google Play and they just kept all the money all the time and it just went out of business, and it’s like, damn, that happens to me a lot.

On the most recent episodes of Friday Night SmackDown and Raw, Van Dam appeared as a guest presenter for the WWE Draft.
