T-Hawk wins A Block, meets Shotaro Ashino in Champion Carnival final

T-Hawk is going to the finals of the Champion Carnival this weekend.

The performer won the A Block on Thursday’s show by defeating former Triple Crown holder Kenta Miyahara with the Night Ride at the 16:45 mark.

The win pushed T-Hawk to ten points in the block and opened his pathway to the finals this Sunday against Shotaro Ashino.

The B Block winner entered the ring and exchanged words with T-Hawk ahead of Sunday’s final at Ota Ward Gymnasium.

The final day of the A Block included Satoshi Kojima pinning Cyrus at 9:23 after multiple lariats to the back and finishing Cyrus with the Cozy Lariat. The win gave Kojima eight points as his final total with Cyrus remaining at six.

Jun Saito played spoiler by defeating Ryuki Honda with his cobra clutch slam in 7:33 and keeping Honda at eight points, who was hanging on by a thread as he has prior losses to both T-Hawk and Miyahara.

Yuma Aoyagi defeated Yoshitatsu after countering Yoshitatsu with a bridging jackknife cover at 7:49 and leaping to eight points.

T-Hawk wins the block with ten points while Kojima, Miyahara, Aoyagi, and Honda finished with eight points followed by Cyrus and Saito with six, and Yoshitatsu with two.

The finals are this Sunday with the winner of the Champion Carnival earning a Triple Crown shot against Yuji Nagata.
