Nakano also talked about being in the ring with Giulia.

Tam Nakano’s debut match was in 2016. Present day, she is with the STARDOM promotion and has been with them since 2021.

Her beginnings in pro wrestling were covered in an interview with the Shueisha outlet. Tam recalled suffering a neck injury prior to her in-ring debut. She stated that she still feels a sudden pain when she takes German suplexes, but laughed and said she doesn’t mind it.

Two months later, I had my debut match, but I suffered a neck injury right before the match, and I really thought I was going to die during the match.

Yes, I did (develop a hernia)… I was numb from my shoulders all the way down to my fingertips. But once I became a professional wrestler, I missed a long period of time and got much better. Even now, I still feel a twinge when I am hit with a German, but I don’t mind it at all (laughs).

She went on to say that she does mention the neck injury but looks at it with the thought that everyone in her profession does not have the best neck.

Yes, I do (mention my neck injury). It’s like, everyone’s neck is bad, so it’s not my place to say anything about it. However, if there is a difference between men and women in terms of appealing injuries, it is probably because women’s professional wrestling makes it easier to see emotions than men. That’s why, rather than playing around with injuries, we fight each other head-on and cut our lives. And prove each other’s ideologies. That’s why I like women’s professional wrestling.

At STARDOM’s All Star Grand Queendom, Tam bested Giulia in the main event to become World of STARDOM Champion. She discussed her matches with Giulia and stated that it is painful but she feels ‘alive’ in the ring with her.

No, it wasn’t fun (laughs). I was pissed off, pissed off, and in a lot of pain (wrestling Guilia). But when I was fighting with Giulia, I thought, I am alive. I even thought that I had started wrestling to fight her.

On May 27th, Tam and Mina Shirakawa are going to meet in a double title match with both the World and Wonder of STARDOM Championships on the line.
