*Steel Cage Match: The Creeds over The Dyad in 13:56
*Global Heritage Invitational: Butch over Charlie Dempsey in 4:51
*Elektra Lopez & Lola Vice over Dana Brooke & Kelani Jordan in 4:03
*Dijak over Eddy Thorpe in 4:21
*Global Heritage Invitational: Joe Coffey over Nathan Frazer in 10:10
*#1 Contenders Match: Kiana James over Gigi Dolin, Roxanne Perez & Blair Davenport in 11:38

In the main event of the show, Kiana James pinned Gigi Dolin in a four-way match involving Roxanne Perez and Blair Davenport and will challenge Stratton next Tuesday for the championship.

The Global Heritage Invitational tournament kicked off on Tuesday’s show. The round-robin tournament will feature two groups of four meeting in matches and the two group winners will wrestle on September 26 for a shot against Noam Dar for the Heritage Cup at No Mercy.

Group A features Butch of The Brawling Brutes, Charlie Dempsey, Tyler Bate, and Axiom. Group B has Nathan Frazer, Joe Coffey, Duke Hudson, and Akira Tozawa.

The matches will see the winner earn two points, and one point for a draw with each match set for a 12-minute time limit.

Butch defeated Charlie Dempsey in their Group A match while Joe Coffey defeated Nathan Frazier in the first Group B match.

The tournament will continue this week on NXT Level Up and next Tuesday’s program.

Dominik Mysterio will appear on next Tuesday’s show as the special referee for a match between Mustafa Ali and Dragon Lee where there must be a winner. The one who scores the victory will receive an NXT North American title shot against Dominik at No Mercy on September 30 in Bakersfield, California.

The Creed prevailed over The Dyad in a steel cage match. The first portion of the match saw Brutus Creed attacked and the match began as a 2-on-1 match with Jagger Reid & Rip Fowler against Julius Creed before Brutus made his return.

The Street Profits made an appearance backstage with the NXT Tag Team Champions Tony D’Angelo & Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo with friendly banter but a tease of The Street Profits seeing them in the future.

Dijak used a foreign object to strike Eddy Thorpe from the floor while the referee was distracted and allowed Dijak to get the win over Thorpe. After the match, Dijak shared a photo online of the gloves he wore during the match as a tribute to Bray Wyatt.

There is continued tension building between NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams with Hayes listening to the criticism that Williams is the reason he beat Ilja Dragunov at the Great American Bash. The show ended with Hayes walking into Shawn Michaels’ office and stating, “We need to talk” and presumably will have a rematch with Dragunov to prove he can beat him.

The following matches are set for next Tuesday’s show:
*NXT Women’s Championship: Tiffany Stratton © vs. Kiana James
*Dragon Lee vs. Mustafa Ali w/ Dominik as special referee for No Mercy title shot
*Bron Breakker vs. Von Wagner in a No DQ Match
*Ilja Dragunov vs. Oro Mensah
*Tyler Bate vs. Dabba-Kato
*Global Heritage Invitational continues
