Calvin Tankman confirms free agency, thanks MLW in statement

Calvin Tankman is a free agent, confirming a previous report that his MLW contract was expiring.

Tankman announced that as of today (September 1), he is a free agent and thanked MLW CEO Court Bauer and the company for his time with the group. Fightful Select was the first to report that his contract was about to expire.

Tankman, 28, began his career wrestling in IWA: Mid-South and joined MLW during the pandemic in November 2020. In 2022, he won the MLW Tag Team Titles with E.J. Nduka and held them for nearly a year before losing the titles to Juicy Finau & Lance Anoa’i this past January.

Tankman is now accepting independent bookings.
