Stratton’s next challenger is The Man.
Kicking off the 9/5 episode of NXT on USA Network was an NXT Women’s Championship match. The champion Tiffany Stratton defeated Kiana James to retain.
As Stratton was celebrating her victory in the ring, a video from Becky Lynch aired on the main screen. Lynch brought up that since Stratton visited her at WWE Payback, she’ll return the favor and will be present on the 9/12 NXT. Lynch added that she will be challenging Stratton for the title in the main event.

The back and forth between Lynch and Stratton began after a promo from Stratton during which he named Lynch as a former NXT Women’s Champion. Stratton did an interview later in the show and said she misspoke and Lynch may be a big deal to everyone else, but not to her.
