GUNTHER states that going after the World Heavyweight Title is the natural progression for him.

It is official that GUNTHER is the longest-reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion of all-time. A celebration was held for him on the 9/11 Monday Night Raw

Over the weekend, Imperium (GUNTHER, Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci) were present in India for WWE Superstar Spectacle. While in the country, they were a part of a media junket (via Wrasslinews). GUNTHER was asked about Seth Rollins’ World Heavyweight Championship and feels it’s the natural progression from where he’s at present day.

He went on to add that the Royal Rumble is coming up and if he’s in the match, he’s one of the favorites to win it.

Yeah, I mean that’s the natural progression from now on I think but we’ll see where that goes (GUNTHER said about going after WWE World Heavyweight Title). Still the Intercontinental Champion. I’m not planning on losing the title. We’ll see. (Royal) Rumble is in a few months. If I’m in there, I think I’m one of the favorites. That would lead to WrestleMania. Yeah, we’ll have to see.

Imperium were on the losing end of a six-man tag on Raw. They were bested by Chad Gable, Tommaso Ciampa and Otis.
