Cody Rhodes declares for 2024 men’s Royal Rumble match, ambushed by Shinsuke Nakamura on WWE Raw

Nakamura is bringing the chaos to Rhodes.

There was a segment with Cody Rhodes to lead off the second hour of Monday Night Raw. Rhodes recapped securing the win for his team at Survivor Series: WarGames and shouted out his teammates Randy Orton, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.

Rhodes then welcomed CM Punk back to WWE and said with all the news coming out of that, he wants to create some news of his own. Rhodes, with the approval of Adam Pearce, declared himself for the 2024 men’s Royal Rumble match. The 2024 Royal Rumble is scheduled to take place on January 27th from Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Following Rhodes’ announcement, a video message from Shinsuke Nakamura aired. For weeks, Nakamura has been sending messages to someone but would not specifically mention who he was talking about.

In the message that aired on 11/27, Nakamura stated that he’ll be bringing the chaos to Rhodes and when the lights cut back on, Nakamura was behind Rhodes and waited for him to turn around to red mist him.

Following tonight’s Raw going off the air on USA Network, POST Wrestling is going to be live with a recording of Rewind-A-Raw.
