An update on Sami Zayn.

Kicking off the 12/11 episode of Monday Night Raw was a singles match between Drew McIntyre and Jey Uso. As the match was taking place, play-by-play commentator Michael Cole provided an injury update on Sami Zayn, who fell in defeat to McIntyre in the main event of the 12/4 Raw

Cole stated that Zayn is out for the foreseeable future with a partially torn meniscus.

Since Kevin Owens moved to SmackDown, Zayn has set his sights on becoming WWE World Heavyweight Champion. At Survivor Series, Zayn teamed with the World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso and Randy Orton and they bested McIntyre and Judgment Day (Finn Bálor, Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio & J.D. McDonagh) in WarGames

Following tonight’s edition of Raw, check out POST Wrestling’s review of the program.
