Catch 2/2 vs. BULLET CLUB War Dogs in Coffin match set for NJPW Road to Tokyo Dome

A Coffin match is taking place at Road to Tokyo Dome. 

On night one of NJPW Road to Tokyo Dome, United Empire’s TJP, Francesco Akira and Callum Newman picked up a victory over BULLET CLUB War Dogs (Clark Connors, Drilla Moloney & Gedo). 

Moloney and Connors came to the ring rolling a coffin and they said it was for Akira and TJP. It was TJP who threw out the challenge to have a Coffin match and now the bout is official for Road to Tokyo Dome night two on December 22nd. 

At Wrestle Kingdom 18, Connors and Moloney are scheduled to defend their IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships against Akira and TJP. Before that, the two teams are going to meet in a Coffin match. Here’s the updated lineup for Road to Tokyo Dome: 

  • Shoma Kato & Togi Makabe vs. Katsuya Murashima & Satoshi Kojima
  • Masked Boltin & Masked Horse vs. YOH & Toru Yano
  • Tomohiro Ishii vs. Callum Newman
  • Bishamon (YOSHI-HASHI & Hirooki Goto) vs. Oskar Leube vs. Yuto Nakashima
  • Master Wato & El Desperado vs. BUSHI & Hiromu Takahashi
  • Coffin Match: Catch 2/2 (TJP & Francesco Akira) vs. BULLET CLUB War Dogs (Clark Connors & Drilla Moloney)
  • Hiroshi Tanahashi & Kazuchika Okada vs. T.M.D.K. (Kosei Fujita vs. Zack Sabre Jr.)
  • Yuya Uemura, Taichi & SANADA vs. Yota Tsuji, Shingo Takagi & Tetsuya Naito
