Omori is wrapping up with AJPW.

At the age of 54 and after working dates with All Japan Pro Wrestling since 1992, Takao Omori is allowing his current contract to expire.

All Japan noted on their official website that his deal is running out and his last match for the company will be at their December 31st show.

In his statement about his pending departure, he apologized to fans for the sudden announcement. He mentioned that he officially rejoined All Japan in 2012. He added that the changes in ownership, talent departures and the COVID-19 pandemic took a toll on him.

With that in mind, he continued to push forward and had the mindset that he left All Japan once and would never do that again. He asked for the public to continue supporting AJPW.
