Chris Brookes discharged from hospital, appreciates the support he received

An update from Brookes.

On December 21st, DDT Pro-Wrestling shared with the public that Chris Brookes had to be pulled from future events because it was discovered that he had a tumor. It was noted that the tumor was not malignant.

Brookes underwent surgery as soon as possible to remove the tumor and on 12/28, he took to X and shared that he’s been discharged from the hospital.

The former KO-D Openweight Champion is unsure of when he’ll be back in the ring, but he’s grateful for all the support he received. Brookes noted that he’ll be taking time to recover.

He had been scheduled to compete at DDT’s 12/24 show in his B block match for the D-Oh GRAND PRIX tournament. The final between Tetsuya Endo and Yukio Naya is taking place on January 3rd.
