Booker T undergoes medical procedure, off NXT Vengeance Day & ‘next couple weeks’ of TV

An update from Booker T. 

NXT Vengeance Day is taking place on February 4th from Clarksville, Tennessee and going into the event, NXT color commentator Booker T shared that he will not be on the call alongside Vic Joseph. 

Booker noted that he had to undergo a medical procedure and as a result, he’ll be off Vengeance Day and the ‘next couple weeks’ of NXT TV. 

I will not be at #NXTVengenceDay tonight and I’ll be off TV the next couple weeks due to a medical procedure I had to have. But – I’m all good and I’ll be back in action on @WWENXT in no time! Thank you all for your support, couldn’t do it with out the people. Shucky Duck!

As of this writing, the advertised lineup for Vengeance Day is listed as follows: 

  • NXT Championship: Ilja Dragunov (c) vs. Trick Williams
  • NXT Women’s Championship: Lyra Valkyria (c) vs. Roxanne Perez
  • Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Final: Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin vs. Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams
  • NXT North American Championship: Oba Femi (c) vs. Dragon Lee
  • The Family (Tony D’Angelo, Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo & Adrianna Rizzo) vs. O.T.M. (Bronco Nima, Lucien Price & Jaida Parker)
  • No Disqualification Match: Joe Gacy vs. Dijak
