Lyra Valkyria retains NXT Women’s Title at Vengeance Day despite Lola Vice cashing in Breakout tournament contract

With some help from Tatum Paxley, Valkyria is still champion.

The NXT Women’s Championship bout at Vengeance Day was billed as Lyra Valkyria defending the title against Roxanne Perez.

As their match was ongoing, NXT women’s Breakout tournament winner Lola Vice made her way to the ring and executed her contract to get a title match. She opted to add herself to the match and make it a Triple Threat.

Towards the end of the bout, Valkyria was caught in the middle of Vice and Perez, but Tatum Paxley entered the ring and ran into Perez and they both fell out of the ring.

Valkyria then countered a strike from Vice and hit her with her finisher to retain the title.
