Tony Khan says Will Ospreay is ‘questionable’ for 3/6 AEW Dynamite match with Kyle Fletcher, Ospreay convinced him not to scrap it

Ospreay and Khan take the stage.

At the post-AEW Revolution press conference, Will Ospreay and AEW President Tony Khan took the stage. Khan shared that Ospreay is ‘questionable’ for his match on Dynamite on 3/6 against ROH World Television Champion Kyle Fletcher. Ospreay clashed with Konosuke Takeshita at Revolution and developed a bruise on his hip after taking a suplex onto the turnbuckle. Ospreay talked Khan into not scrapping it.

Here are the remainder of the highlights from the media session:

  • It took a lot for Ospreay to leave Japan, but he immediately felt welcomed in AEW. He is grateful to have shared the ring with Konosuke Takeshita and said Takeshita is every bit as good as he is.
  • Ospreay states that the bruise on his hip sucks.
  • He is ready to show personality and be vulnerable on television. Ospreay is learning not to curse on television and added that when it comes to the in-ring work, he know he’ll be fine.
  • Ospreay sent his well wishes to fellow former United Empire member Mark Davis. He said he misses him.
  • He called the AEW roster the most elite roster of all-time.
