CM Punk to appear at WWE Raw in Illinois later this month

Another homecoming is on the way for CM Punk.

WWE has announced that Punk will appear on the March 25 episode of Raw from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.

While Punk will appear in front of his loyal supporters, it’s highly unlikely that he will participate in any wrestling. Punk suffered a torn triceps during the Royal Rumble this year, putting away any possibility that he could appear at Wrestlemania in April. An exact return date from him has not been discussed yet.

After a nearly ten-year hiatus, Punk returned to WWE last November at the Survivor Series in the same building in Chicago.

Along with the announcement of Punk’s appearance on Monday, WWE opened up extra sections of seating for the March 25 Raw. The show was a sell-out prior to this change, having moved nearly 12,000 seats by last Tuesday, per WrestleTix.
