AEW Dynamite falls to lowest Wednesday night audience in three years

AEW Dynamite took a hit in its viewership figures including its lowest 18-49 audience since 2020 on its regular night.

The March 27 episode from Quebec City averaged 747,000 viewers and 301,000 (0.23) in the 18-49 demographic, per Wrestlenomics.

On Wednesday, the show ranked third among cable originals behind two NBA games on ESPN.

It was the show’s lowest audience on its regular night since April 7, 2021, and the lowest 18-49 audience since June 24, 2020.

The audience declined by seven percent and the core demo dropped by sixteen percent from last week’s figures.

In the 18-49 demo, males dropped fourteen percent to 202,000 viewers and females saw a decline of twenty-two percent from last week, averaging 98,000.

Adults 18-34 saw a thirty-four percent drop from 141,000 to 93,000 this week.

Adults 35-49 averaged 207,000 viewers, representing a six percent drop.

In Canada, the show fared much better by averaging 148,500 viewers and 82,500 in the 25-54 demographic on TSN 2, up thirty percent and twenty-four percent respectively from the prior week. The show ranked second among sports programs on Wednesday behind the Ottawa Senators vs. Buffalo Sabres.
