REPORT: AEW releases ten performers

AEW has cut ten performers from its roster.

The cuts were reported on Monday night by Fightful and PWInsider.com with the following names being released:

*Anthony Henry
*The Tate Twins a.k.a. The Boys
*Stu Grayson
*Dasha Kuret
*Gravity
*Parker Boudreaux
*Slim J
*Jose the Assistant
*Jora Johl

PWinsider.com reports that the talents would become free agents “immediately”.

Anthony Henry wrestled as Asher Hale in WWE and was among the cut in August 2021. He first wrestled for AEW in September of that year and was part of The Workhorsemen with JD Drake. He is currently out of action with a jaw injury.

The Tate Twins first wrestled for AEW in 2021 and were put back with Dalton Castle in the summer of 2022 after Tony Khan purchased Ring of Honor. Castle is scheduled for a Fight Without Honor match against Johnny TV this Friday at Supercard of Honor.

Stu Grayson has now finished two stints with the company after his contract expired in 2022, but he returned one year ago and was working in Ring of Honor. He has not wrestled for ROH since Death Before Dishonor last July.

Dasha Kuret was part of AEW before it launched on TNT in October 2019 as part of the Spanish-language broadcast team. Kuret shared ring announcing duties with Justin Roberts and previously worked in WWE under the name Dasha Fuentes.

Gravity is the brother of Bandido and had been wrestling for Big Lucha when he started wrestling for AEW in early 2023 and had singles matches against Samoa Joe and PAC on AEW television. He had been assigned to Ring of Honor and last wrestled in February.

Parker Boudreaux wrestled as Harland in NXT and was cut in April 2022. He was brought into AEW as part of The Trustbusters with Ari Daivari and Slim J and later became part of the Mogul Affiliates. He has not wrestled since March 2023.

Slim J has been wrestling since 2001 and was a mainstay in NWA Wildside and various Georgia independent groups. He was another ROH wrestler, who last wrestled on March 7.  

Jose the Assistant (Jose Garcia) was a California-based wrestler, who debuted in 2007 and joined AEW in 2021 as a manager for various acts including Andrade El Idolo, Rush, Dralistico, and Preston Vance.

Jora Johl has been wrestling for over seven years and started in AEW in 2021 wrestling on Elevation and Dark and became part of The Hardy Family Office. He had not wrestled for the company since last July in Ring of Honor.
