Starkz is going to be competing for the ROH Women’s World TV Title.

Coming up on 4/5 is Ring of Honor’s annual Supercard of Honor pay-per-view. There are seven matches on the bill and one of those bouts is the tournament final to crown the first-ever ROH Women’s World Television Champion.

It’ll be Billie Starkz and Queen Aminata competing for the prize. Going into the bout, Starkz joined Will Washington and Aubrey Edwards on AEW Unrestricted. While speaking about her venture into AEW, Starkz stated that she officially signed in August 2023. She did an interview in October and publicly announced it.

I don’t know (how shortly it was after my match against Jade Cargill that I officially joined AEW). It never really got announced and then everybody was like, ‘Oh, she’s just part of this now. This is awesome,’ and I was like, cool. Everybody I think just caught on. But, I officially joined, I think, August. Yes, August… Yeah (I was sitting on the news). It was kind of weird. I was just like, oh, I’ll keep doing my thing and see what happens.

Starkz is aligned with ROH Women’s World Champion Athena and backstage interviewer and correspondent, Lexy Nair. She spoke about how their on-screen storyline came to be and continuing to add new layers to their dynamic.

Honestly, just jokes (is how the pairing with Athena & Lexy Nair came about). We just kept making jokes and things just evolved more and more and it started with me and Athena just texting back and forth and then it became me, Lexy and Athena made a group chat just talking about, ‘Oh, we should make t-shirts, we need to do this’ and we just committed fully into it and then in 2024, we wanna make it even crazier and bigger…

As of this writing, here’s the advertised lineup for Supercard of Honor:

  • ROH World Championship: Eddie Kingston (c) vs. Mark Briscoe
  • ROH Women’s World Championship: Athena (c) vs. Hikaru Shida
  • ROH World Television Championship: Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. Lee Johnson
  • ROH Women’s World Television Championship Tournament Final: Queen Aminata vs. Billie Starkz
  • Mina Shirakawa, Maika & Mei Seira vs. Saya Kamitani, Tam Nakano & AZM
