‘Timeless’ Toni Storm challenging Mayu Iwatani for IWGP Women’s Title at STARDOM’s October 5th event

Toni is coming back to STARDOM.

At STARDOM’s Namba Grand Fight event in Osaka, there was a tag match that saw Hanan and IWGP Women’s Champion Mayu Iwatani defeat AZM and Miyu Amasaki.

Afterwards, a video clip aired from former AEW Women’s World Champion ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm. She brought up that she’s won the World of Stardom Championship and people thought that was a fluke, so she must prove them wrong.

Storm challenged Iwatani for the IWGP Women’s Title and set the match date for October 5th in Nagoya. Iwatani expressed that she’s game.

Storm last appeared under the STARDOM banner this past April when the promotion held a show in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her last match for STARDOM in Japan took place in July 2019.
