Natalya made her return to WWE TV in September.

After being off WWE television for several months, Natalya made her return on the September 9th Monday Night Raw in her hometown of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

While Natalya was off TV, it was reported by PWInsider and Fightful that she signed a new contract with the company. That has been confirmed by her uncle, Ross Hart. During his appearance on the Paltrocast With Darren Paltrowitz, he spoke about what members of their family are currently doing and mentioned that Natalya re-signed with WWE.

There is (a fourth-generation of Hart’s in wrestling) but I don’t think there’s anyone that’s stepped in the ring. I have a couple of fourth-generation nephews, Dallas (Hart) and Blade (Hart). They are running Dungeon Pro Wrestling, and Bret’s helped them out with that somewhat. But they’re not stepping in the ring. I don’t think they have any interest in actually performing but they’re actually promoting shows. I’m just trying to think if there’s anybody else. I think that’s about it. I have one nephew, Matthew. Smith’s son who’s performing but I guess he would have been a third-generation star so, you know, but now, the fourth-generation nephews and nieces are having kids and I wouldn’t be surprised if some of them grow up and decide to try wrestling. I think there’s just so much fascination about that and maybe following the footsteps of either their parents or their grandparents or uncles and aunts, in the case of Bret and Owen. Ellie’s kids, and my nephew Ted and T.J. (Wilson) and Harry (Smith) of course. So that would be interesting. But right now, it’s just fourth-generation. Harry’s doing really well in Japan and Natalya just re-signed with the WWE as you know and Ted’s kind of all over the place. He’s wrestling independently I guess. I think I heard he’s actually in Calgary doing an independent show. His first one in about five years but, still performing.

Natalya opened up about her time off. She shared that she needed a ‘mental reset’ and underwent eye surgery. She scored a singles win over Zoey Stark on 9/16.
