She explained why she feels that way.

It was in April of 2022 that there were a batch of WWE releases that included Dakota Kai, Stokely Hathaway, Dexter Lumis, Parker Boudreaux, Steph De Lander and Raelyn Divine among others.

Divine, real name Jaylen Williams, did not get to make her official in-ring debut for the company before being let go. She was a Performance Center recruit. Looking back at the release, she shared on The Lyons Den that she feels her exit was probably the best thing that could have happened to her.

Honestly, this aura that I have right now is — I got it after I got fired from WWE. I feel like I had a bit of this aura before. Every time something was taken away from me, like basketball was taken away from me, I had to do a lot of self-reflecting and then the most self-reflecting I took was when I got fired from WWE. That’s probably the best thing that could ever have happened to me in my life because I am nowhere near the person that I was in WWE or before that. I am not even close.

Williams said that quote during her chat with NXT’s Nikkita Lyons. Lyons opened about her recovery from two major knee injuries and to read her remarks, head over to this link.
