Myers shares his thoughts about the subject.
After four years away from TNA Wrestling, Tessa Blanchard returned to the promotion at the Final Resolution special on December 13th.
During the summer of 2020, IMPACT/TNA terminated their relationship with Blanchard and stripped her of the World Championship she won that past January.
Current TNA talent Brian Myers participated in a K & S WrestleFest virtual signing and was asked about Blanchard’s return. He mentioned that the ‘drama’ involving Blanchard was before his time there and feels everyone deserves a second chance.
I think… everyone deserves a second chance. I missed all the drama that went on. It was before my time. So, I think time will tell. You got to rip the Band-Aid off, see what happens. I do think she’s a very talented performer. I don’t know her personally, like, whatsoever. So, it is what it is, you know?
Prior to Blanchard winning the IMPACT World Championship at Hard To Kill 2020, multiple wrestlers publicly accused her of bullying and making racial comments.
