The booking will be Satomura’s first PROGRESS appearance in more than half a decade. She had a brief but notable run with the England-based promotion in 2019, capturing their women’s title with a win over Jordynne Grace and defending it twice before later losing to Jinny.
28-year-old Rhio is a more recent name in PROGRESS history, having consistently appeared on their shows since 2021. Her lengthy 434-day reign as PROGRESS Women’s Champion – the second-longest run any wrestler has put together with the belt – just came to an end last month, losing a title match to Nina Samuels in December.
Satomura is expected to officially step away from pro wrestling by April of this year, wrapping up her in-ring career after 30 years.
