After a week of speculation regarding Corey Graves, it appears he will be back on tonight’s NXT broadcast.
With the recent changes to the broadcast pairings, Graves was re-assigned to NXT and joined Vic Joseph and Booker T. as part of a new three-man team on the January 7 episode of New Year’s Evil.
Last Monday, Graves posted on X:
Imagine chasing your dream.
Then being TOLD (not deciding) that you’re no longer physically able to pursue your dream.
Then you dedicate your life to something “dream adjacent” and being pretty fucking awesome at it.
And then, when it’s time to enjoy the fruits of your labor, being told you’re not famous enough for your own job.
Just in case you’ve wondered where I’ve been.
The next day, Graves wrote, “I’ve got a lot to say” and promoted that night’s edition of NXT on CW but did not appear and his tweets were later deleted.
There was no mention of Graves during last week’s episode.
On Tuesday, Corey Brennan at Fightful reported that Graves is listed for tonight’s show and expected for rehearsals at the Performance Center.
Tonight’s episode airs at 8 p.m. ET on CW with the following announced:
*NXT Championship: Oba Femi © vs. Eddy Thorpe
*North American Championship: Tony D’Angelo © vs. Ridge Holland
