
Friday Night SmackDown was the top show on its night in the key demographic.
The third week in its three-hour format saw SmackDown attract an average audience of 1,403,000 viewers and 563,000 viewers (0.42) in the 18-49 demographic, which ranked first among all programming on Friday night.
Despite a 2% drop in overall viewership, representing a four-week low, the show saw a 5% increase in the core demo.
In the 18-49 demographic, males increased by 12% this week while females declined by 7%.
SmackDown ranked ahead of ESPN’s coverage of the Orlando Magic vs. Boston Celtics (0.36), Shark Tanks on ABC (0.36), RuPaul’s Drag Race on MTV (0.24), and Dateline on NBC (0.22) for the top spot among broadcast and cable in prime time.
This was its third week in the new three-hour format, including Tiffany Stratton defending the women’s championship against Bayley in the main event segment.
