Ellering spoke highly of the effort that the ROH talent roster puts in.
Dating back to 2023, Rachael Ellering has consistently worked dates for Ring of Honor and in 2024, she appeared on AEW television for an episode of Rampage.
Ellering expressed during a Captain’s Corner virtual signing that she is enjoying her time as a part of ROH. She said the roster puts a lot of care and effort into the product they present.
She went on to add that it can be difficult at times to get the crowd invested into the ROH matches because they normally film after Collision wraps up and the ROH filming begins close to midnight.
I would love to (speak about my time with Ring of Honor). So, yeah, I’ve been doing ROH stuff for over a year and a half, and I really love it. That’s a brand that I’ve always appreciated and you know, original ROH was so mat-heavy, just wrestling-based, right? And I really, really loved that and so many great performers have come out there and I don’t know, I really love the idea of being a part of creating a new Ring of Honor and obviously, Athena has had the Women’s Championship for a long, long, long time, and so, it’s been kind of fun to be a part of the division in this new era and I hope to build it and make it something extremely special. I really love a lot of the girls that I get to work with every week there. Girls that don’t really get enough love. Even people like Red Velvet, Abadon, Diamante. Leyla (Hirsch) and myself, we had a storyline together last year. Now, Harley (Cameron) and I kind of have one, and I think we put so much thought and care and effort into ROH and a lot of people maybe don’t realize our matches go on after Collision most weeks and so, you know, it’s extra hard to kind of get the crowd to care and make the most of your minutes and really, really perform well at 11:30 PM when you’re sent out there. But we take so much pride in that and I think it really comes across in the product and so many women on ROH are delivering every single week and so I’m really, really proud to be a part of that brand and I hope to keep building it in any little way that I can and yeah, myself and Harley, when they say, ‘Opposites attract,’ you guys, her and I are literally opposites. But she’s a really wonderful person and so I have enjoyed kind of developing a little friendship with her over the last couple of months and hopefully that continues to blossom.
Ellering was last featured on the 1/9 edition of ROH on HonorClub. She fell in defeat to Queen Aminata in singles competition. Ellering last won a match in ROH during the summer of 2024.
